To improve its services, Air Algérie needed to facilitate travelers at its hub, Algiers Airport. According to this traveler, who had booked aboard an Air Algérie flight between Algiers and Paris, “the arrival from the airport was rather smooth, despite a large number of travelers present”.

Once at the airport, the checks are passed without too much waiting. The traveler, with a business class ticket, indicates that he “could easily access the Business Class check-in at terminal level after going through a security scanner”. “There was no channel and it was perfect,” he explains, noting that “Air Algérie has its own Business counters”.

The Air Algérie passenger, apparently seduced by Algiers Houari Boumediene airport, took several photos of the terminal that he shared on the site. It further states that “the terminal has several counters and various shops and restaurants for travelers and their companions”.

The passenger is more than happy with his business class cabin, admitting that the seats are “very large, with a pitch worthy of a living room”. He adds: “they have a headrest and a footrest, which is especially nice for long distances”. By attaching photos to his comments, the traveler confirms that he “could even stretch his two legs and not reach the opposite wall”.

The pleasant surprise comes at noon, lunchtime. “Air Algérie pleasantly surprised me with a dish worthy of the name. Rice with chicken, very hot, a pastrami and cheese sandwich, a brownie with red fruit, all with 2 rolls and a portion of camembert and cheese. Other seasonings are present such as Dijon mustard and butter. We had the choice of a drink or a juice with a bottle of water,” says the traveler.

After this hearty meal, tradition calls for another drink to relax and digest well. “After eating the full meal, the stewards come by to serve coffee or tea, at the passengers’ choice,” the passenger said, stating that “economy class had a similar dish”. The surprise is all the greater for this traveler, as he knew that a fire very recently ravaged Air Algérie’s Catering Center.

After coffee and tea, it was time for this traveler to relax. He therefore turned to In-Flight Entertainment, which he said was “more than good”. It indicates that “Air Algérie has recent films, has the possibility to listen to music, watch TV programs and even charge its devices via a USB connection or a wall socket”.

To end on a high note, the passenger confides that “the plane’s landing was quite smooth despite the heavy disturbances and the rain”.
