Access to specific promotions

Two months after an initial initiative in the metaverse universe through a partnership with The SandBox, the Club Leader Price is launching a new initiative with its customers on Thursday, April 7, who will see offer NFTs in their food orders. These NFTs, which will take the form of small playful avatars/characters, will allow them to:access to promotions reserved for them. Other benefits associated with these NFTs are being studied.

These initiatives (the Club Leader Price on The Sandbox or the Monoprix NFTs) have a common desire: democratize and familiarize the Group’s customers with the universe of virtual worlds, but they use different mechanisms adapted to each community and each type of customer”.

The main goal? Anticipating changes in society and changes in consumption habits to adapt to the needs, especially the future, of customers. In concrete terms, it is about being able to offer new experiences to consumers that are hybrid and combine physical and digital commerce, entertainment, social and human interactions.

Create value online and offline

“Our ambition is to be among the first to seize the opportunities presented by virtual worlds, in particular by continuing the acquisition and transformation of land on the metaverse, to be able to develop customer experiences for the different brands of the Group and thus create value online and offline”, points to the spokesman.

Specifically, the 100 most loyal Club Leader Price customers receive a real NFT (Non-functioning token).

They will receive a QR code by email inviting them to download a Leader Price Wallet application specially developed by Arianee, a partner of the group. With this application, they can create a wallet in a few clicks in which they will find a unique NFT. These NFTs will take the form of avatars, giving them access to rewards reserved for Club Leader Price members.

Within two months, 900 more NFTs will be offered and added to the order of customers who have requested them. A total of 1,000 NFTs, corresponding to 10 avatars available in 100 copies, will be distributed. They are designed by BEM builders. These playful avatars symbolize different professions in distribution and different customer profiles such as a baker, a delivery man, a pastry chef or a winemaker. They will give their supervisors access to specialized promotions directly related to the avatar’s profile. Holders of NFTs Postman receive discounts on their delivery costs, for example. Those who have NFTs Winegrowers benefits from a promotion on items from the wine department.

In a second step, each holder of a Club Leader Price NFT will be able to exchange his NFT on a secondary market for one or more other Club Leader Price NFTs, in order to expand his portfolio or choose the NFT that offers him the benefits that most interested.

Club Leader Price’s NFTs are not monetized, they are intended to support customers, educate them about NFTs in an educational way and develop the connection of communities to the Group’s brands.
