DUBAI, June 22, 2022 (WAM) — Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, has confirmed that human capital development in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is paramount in the interests of rational leadership.

He pointed out that people are the country’s most precious wealth and have always remained central to the process of sustainable development that the country is going through in various areas.

This happened during the inauguration of the “International HR Conference” on the theme of the HR metaverse, organized by Blue Ocean Corporation in Dubai.

Sheikh Nahyan said the UAE, led by President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, will continue to succeed in creating a vibrant, balanced and peaceful society that focuses on strengthening institutional infrastructure and improving quality of life for all members of society.

Pointing out that a digitally enhanced workplace accelerates productivity and improves workforce management, he added that organizations should focus on properly developing Metaverse not only for economic success, but for the well-being of the entire organization.

While deputy general manager of corporate sector and general manager of happiness and well-being at Dubai Media Incorporated, Dr. Jasim Al Ali and the Chairman of W Ventures, Habib Wehbi, the “Innovative Leader of the Year” and “Inspirational Leader of the Year” respectively, Fatima Obaid Humaid Almheiri, Director of Human Resources of the Ministry of Health, won the award “Leadership in Transformational Excellence”.

Other winners included RAKEZ Group HR Director Aysha Sulaiman for “Women HR Leader of the Year” and Balaji Narayanan, Head of Media Buying at BPN Media, for “Strategic Support Leader of the Year”.

Hamriyah Free Zone Authority Director Saud Salim Al Mazrouei received the “Most Influential Leader of the Year” award for his valuable contribution to empowering businesses and communities.
