Audencia: “total” immersion – Audencia Business School

The Immersive Experience… While many institutions claim this principle, only a very small number, such as Audencia, succeed in providing students with maximum discovery, maximum intensity and truly distinctive courses. In Nantes, whatever they want – International course, Commitment course, Modular course, Apprenticeship course or Dual Skills – Audencians will really have this perspective of “total” training in their sights. Lifelong learning that will challenge them during their education.

“We want an optimal experience, at every stage of education and especially during international periods, confirms Nicolas Arnaud, Director of the Grande École Program and Audencia Programmes. The mere fact that we have 200 academic partners around the world allows us to limit the number of our students per destination. This guarantees them real autonomy and all the personal enrichment that allows this kind of immersion. †

International Immersion

Audencia’s Global Mobility Track symbolizes this promise of international immersion. After a 1st semester of basic courses, it is indeed possible for students to leave study for 6 months across Europe before considering a 3rd semester in the United States or China. Back in France, internships still allow students to think about the international. Finally, they will have the opportunity to participate in one of Audencia’s English-taught MScs in their final year, unless they choose a double degree in France or – again – internationally. “Audencia is an international school by nature, hence the tendency to offer these types of courses,” continues Nicolas Arnaud. Let’s not forget that we were the first school in France to make a semester abroad compulsory in the 1970s. Since then, we have only strengthened this dimension. And last year’s proposal to fully integrate one of our Masters of Science in English is also moving in that direction. †

Immersion and Hybridization

In addition to the 28 MSc and Specialized Masters in Accounting & Finance, Business & Society, Marketing & Sales, Management and Sectoral offerings, Audencia has also multiplied new international and hybrid graduate courses over the past 18 months. “Double courses with partners with very different specialties”, smiles the director of the Grande École program. This gives our students the prospect of a double change of environment. Both geographically and disciplinary. And the list of these courses is long… In addition to international double degrees in areas close to management or even finance with the universities of Berkeley (US), Aston (UK) and Tongji Shanghai (China) have double degrees and certificates in much more Far-flung fields have also been set up: “Students can thus follow a course in creation and audiovisual production at the New York Film Academy (NYFA), an art and design course at UCLA, or even a course in gastronomy and Italian culture at Instituto Lorenzo de Medici , in Florence. †

Similarly, for students who have stayed in France, Audencia will offer prestigious degree programs. And, among other things, the possibility, in addition to the Master in Grande Ecole, the Master in Business Law from the Institute of Business Law, or even dual engineering manager degrees at Centrale Nantes or, more recently, the École Supérieur wood.

Immersion and ecological transition

Finally, immersion at Audencia also means full and complete integration at the heart of teaching environmental issues. The school has long been known for its commitment to CSR and will open a new six-month master’s course dedicated to managing environmental and social transition at the beginning of the next academic year. “This course will be entirely in English and fully focused on this theme of transition, which we cover in all our courses, but which will be covered in a much more specific way here. A new program whose design owes much to Gaïa, the school set up internally to help us transition into this new, more ecological and social era. We also continue to study the creation of new partnerships in France or internationally. †
