the fetishism has existed since the beginning of time. But in recent years, with the advent of social networks and specialized platforms, the sell foot photos is proving to be an attractive activity for young people and there are more and more dedicated accounts.
Just by typing “sale feet” on instagramor just “feet”, an endless list of accounts will appear: “Pied_de_femmes”, “Pied.vente.fr”, “photos_de_pieds_sexy”…
Chloé* is now 18, but she was 17 when she started selling pictures of her feet. Currently waitress at Pariswill this young dark-haired woman study architecture in Bordeaux (Gironde) in September 2022.
Photos at nice prices
It all started for her in late December 2020/early January 2021. At that time in Terminale at a secondary school in the suburbs of Paris, Chloé registered on an online dating platform. Website: Connected2.me. Special feature of this platform, all accounts are anonymous. “With anonymity, people feel more free to start a conversation,” explains the young woman.
After a few days on the social network, the high school student receives an anonymous message offering her a nice amount of money in exchange for a photo… of her feet. “First I said no. I thought that was super weird. But with the money dimension, it got me thinking. What exactly are images of feet? †
After several proposals, almost systematically formulated by men, she agrees. His first shot, a simple shot on these feet. “As if the client were my eyes and he lowered his head,” she describes.
For this simple photo, the suburbanet immediately receives a transfer of 50 euros to an online payment application.
300 euros per photo
Very happy, she leaves to tell her friends about her adventures. “We had a good laugh about it, but nobody was shocked. It is true that we know this phenomenon in our generation. †
First, she sends simple photos of her feet, paying close attention to the background (mirror, reflections, clothes…), so as not to be recognized and endanger herself.
But over time, the high school student gets other requests, each more absurd than the next. And as soon as there are special wishes, such as varnish or staging, the price rises.
The biggest fee I took for a photo was 300 euros. This request was pretty funny by the way. In this photo I just had to take my feet with flip flops and black lacquer. That’s all.
At this point, his account on the platform is definitely no longer dedicated to dating activities. His biography: a foot emoji and another ticket. “I couldn’t write in full ‘I’m selling pictures of my feet’ because the application would have banned me,” specifies the beautiful brunette.
Like many young people of that age, she spends this money on shopping and parties. “I didn’t even have a specific financial need at the time, I lived with my parents. †
A vicious circle
The months go by and the requests increase. One day, a user offered her a $700 transfer for a photo of her licking her feet. It’s too much for her, the red line has been crossed. “You have to set boundaries. Since the customer had already made transfers to me, I knew he would give me some if I did. But you should not give in because afterwards it is a vicious circle. †
If we asked her for pictures of her naked? Yes. But she never sent one. “After that, if we fall in, we can’t get out…” The young woman explains that she had friends, all equally young, who gave in to the temptation of large numbers.
Over time, the young girl, then a minor, began to feel less and less comfortable with her activities. “I felt dirty,” she breathes. I already felt bad about my life and it clearly didn’t help me. You can imagine what customers do with the pictures and I found that disgusting. †
500 euros per month for a few shots
She will have carried out her activity for six months. She received an average of more than 500 euros per month for a few photos. The advantage is that it doesn’t take long.
By marketing photos of their feet, some people come to earn high salaries, sometimes up to 5,000 euros per month, as the Belgian media wrote. South info†
At the level of the law, the sale of these types of photos is not illegal. Companies, especially advertising, are regularly looking for models. But that has nothing to do with Chloe’s experience.
“But really, I invite people who are tempted by this experience to think carefully. It starts with photos of feet, but soon customers are asking for more and we know they’re paying. If you give in to the demands, it will only get worse. It can go much further…”
*The first name has been changed at the request of the young woman, who wishes to remain anonymous.
