GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, USA, May 10, 2022 / — MAP Esports Network, Inc. is pleased to announce that it has launched a new division of its company focused on expanding its content, products, existing and new programs and services to the metaverse.

The metaverse is usually defined as a network of 3D virtual worlds focused on social connection. Metaverse more specifically describes Web 3.0 based applications and worlds built on the blockchain. MAP Esports Network has identified two major metaverse layer platforms that it will attempt to build products and services for Decentraland and The Sandbox. In addition, the Enjin platform has been identified for blockchain game development. There are several Play-To-Earn video games that MAP Esports is evaluating and planning to develop.

MAP has identified partners for the development of its NFT marketplaces to distribute NFTs to the Opensea, Rarible, Nifty Gateway and Coinbase NFT marketplaces, using the content, relationships, upcoming projects and intellectual property of third parties.

To date, MAP Network has focused on delivering its content to traditional audio and video channels such as Spotify, Audible, Apple, Facebook, YouTube, its game centers, experiential retailers and OTT platforms. It offers a range of programs and services for experiential retailers, content creators, municipalities, nonprofits, publishers and brands.
