Vacancy: Senior Business Developer – Olympique Lyonnais

Olympique Lyonnais, a recognized sports and events company, is currently looking for: BUSINESS DEVELOPER SENIOR – CDI (M/F)

The Employee ends up at the Business department, within the BtoB Ticketing department.

The main mission of the Senior Business Developer will be to expand the customer portfolio of the BtoB service by prospecting new companies and to functionally animate, train and follow up Business Developers (more “Junior” profiles ).

He/she will have a real role of “fighter”, will prioritize the field by winning new customers. He/she will also have a role of animation and functional support for Business Developers plus Juniors within the team.

Specifically, the main products to be marketed for all men’s and women’s matches played in Groupama Stadium and GOLTC are:

‐ Subscriptions in Tribunes and Hospitality (Lodges, VIP Lounges and Brasserie Bocuse),

‐ Punctual ticketing in the stands and in Hospitality.

The list of products is subject to revision, in particular depending on events outside of OL that will take place at the Groupama Stadium and the launch of future products.

In addition to the assignments normally associated with this position, the Employee will in particular carry out the following assignments:

-Commercial missions/actions:

‐ Know how to prospect, sell, negotiate and monitor methods that can quickly generate business opportunities (leads), in accordance with the wishes/guidelines of the Director of BtoB Division:

Be THE specialist in prospecting, calling and searching for relevant files;
A perfect command of sales techniques;
Mastering long and complex negotiations with high-level interlocutors;
‐ Be proactive about actions to be taken to increase sales, turnover and the number of subscribers in the stadium;

‐ Use social networks both in prospecting and in the sales process;

‐ Building its commercial strategy;

‐ Setting up information and prescribers; maintaining partnerships, organizing events;

‐ Participate in company evenings and/or trade fairs;

‐ Bring new ideas and implement them;

‐ Visiting prospects (significant field presence) to promote B to B product offerings and services;

‐ Know how to set up a marketing cycle;

‐ Market Stands and Hospitality Subscription Products, as well as Occasional Ticketing;

‐ Marketing our events outside of competitions;

‐ Participate in the creation of working documents, synthesis;

– Regularly reporting to his N+1 and N+2.

Help with logistics:

‐ Permanent link and support/punctual support for customer orders (especially during periods of high activity) with the Sales Assistant;

‐ Follow up on the correct payment of customer invoices/quotations.

Qualification of a prospect file and mastery of CRM and ticketing tools:

‐ Create and monitor customer accounts on the SALESFORCE CRM tool;

‐ Participation in the development of management tools;

‐ Qualification and regular updating of data;

– Insert all activities into the tool.

Functional animation and support for Business Developers (more Junior profile):

‐ Supporting “more junior” profiles to increase their skills and guide them at key moments by giving them advice, processes, etc. (integration, client/prospect appointments and key negotiations, arbitration, difficulty to achieve objectives) ;

– Participation in the animation of the team:

Descent of important information,
Animation of team points and follow-up of the realization of actions,
Creating a positive working atmosphere;
‐ Participation in the evaluation and assessment of the team’s activity;

‐ Checking the correct application of internal processes by the teams and proceeding with the necessary warnings and corrections in case of incorrect application;

‐ Report to the Director of the BtoB Division on the progress of the team’s actions and the results in relation to the objectives and expectations of the Management.

-Education and experience

B to B commercial experience of 5 years and more;

– Skills and know-how

  • Excellent command of prospecting;
